They look good with the central stone size-wise. How do you like the way they all looked together? Do they play well together?

Goodness, I just did the math. Thats nearly 4.5 carats in total.....for now! haha

Is it me, or is one a bit whiter than the other? But then again, it''s a picture, so I might be off...?

Nicrez, are you talking about the right being whiter than the 1 on the left. The one on the left has a little more bowtie than the one on the right. But generally i think it is the way the picture has been taken. We tried forever to line them up.

Yes, to me the one on the right is a bit whiter, but I am generally sensitive with color. They are a good match in size and from the picture, they seem to be really lovely.

I really like the sidestones with a pear, even at that size, which I think is healthy enough to be on it's own...

How will you set them? Any idea of prong or bezel? I ask because recently I saw a pear with the same set-up of sidestones in a bezel set, very thin and with slight miligrain border on the bezel, which gave it a unique and older feel, even though the piece was clearly new. some small pave on the band was a nice touch. I just thought it had a lovely look to it, and it made me want a pear...

Nicrez. I was just going to do a plain setting with a v at each tip of each pear with very fine antique prongs aka leon. Also a pinched shank. Any suggestions/ pictures would be great. Do you think I should pave the heads/ shank. basket? In other words don''t pinch the shank.

I would like to wear a shared prong diamond eternity band aka WF with it so dont want to compromise the metal or diamonds in terms of rubbing. I have an existing 10pt each eternity band and was thinking this maybe a little much. Maybe a 5 pointer. Would love your opinions.

I *LOVE* the size! I think they''re fab.

ooh...I'm so glad you're going for this look-my favorite, too! The stones you've selected are gorgeous and look very well matched. My initial thought in reading the specs was that their color difference may be perceptible from that of the center stone. (not that that necessarily matters) However, they all look great together in your pic.:) Wow-this is going to be SOME ring!

They look like a nice match and good proportions. Are you going to be having leon make it? He would be an awesome person to make your fabulous ring!

Holy Cow! Sparkles, the side stones are just perfect with the monsterous center stone!

They are gorgeous!!! I cannot wait to see the finished product!!! Wow... big thumbs up from me!!!

Love the size of those sides compared to the center. I can''t see any color difference in the sides at all.

They look great to me!!!

Then if you are going to wear a shared prong, I would assume you want a sturdier setting for your e-ring. It''s a matter of taste really, and although I never pictured a three stone pear in a very delicate bezel really pleased my eyes. I think the cleaner more classic look is the one you are thinking of. But the one I am thinking of could be more antique looking. With a shared prong eternity your look is more matched with more diamond than metal, versus my look which has slightly more metal, and likely look better with a channel set or plain band.

Can''t wait to see your ring!!!

They are beyond perfect!

I would love to get Leon to do my setting....that would be my dream. But knowing me , the centre stone is not goin to be with me forever. I have made a commitment to myself to keep the centre stone for 3 years. Do you think its worth doin a Leon for this period?

I would like to say again......I am so totally over the moon with these stones. I have waited 5 years for it.

"Worth it" depends totally on your ability and willingness to pay for it! Let''s say a Leon setting costs you $3,000 for a simple setting like I assume you need. Then, it costs you about $2.70 per day to have a leon vs. maybe $1.30 or so for another type of setting (assuming you keep it 3 years). If you''re in a financial position where that doesn''t hurt you, then my vote would be LEON!!!

O my! This ring will turn out to be some serious BLING!!!!

IMO, if you are going to part with the ring anyway in the near future, it''s kind of too much to spend on a Leon setting...isn''t it? (Altho I tottaly LOVE all the beautiful Leon settings)

Just that eventhough I am so committed to my jewelry that I will still keep it and save additional money if I really want a upgrade, I still compare Leon''s price w/ others and think it''s a little expensive. (I totally understand how great his craftmanship is, which is valued at this higher price. It''s just that I''d prefer to have that couple thousands more in my bank

I''m just soooo totally over this waiting for the setting to be finished. After going back through the celebrity e-rings and seeing Brooke Shields halo cusion, I''m kinda feeling I have done the wrong thing.

Maybe I need another distraction......anyone up for helping me choose an eternity ring to go with the setting? Or should I wait until its on my hand to see?

don''t worry. your ring will be gorgeous but I tel you want a sales lady told me. once you''ve decided on a setting...stop looking....seriously, there will always be something spectacular to come along and with it comes doubts. I think your doubt will go away once you have you fabulous new ring on your finger.

love to help you with and eternity band

but, i do think you should wait until you get your ring so you can try on rings with different size stones to see which look you like the most. Although, i''m thinking at least 20 pointers to go with your ring for a super celebrity blingy look

It''s going to be a beautiful ring, don''t worry! There will always be another setting out there that you admire and like - or else you likely wouldn''t be a member of this forum!!! That''s why we have a second hand - for more bling and more settings we love.

Seriously - this ring is going to be fantastic!!
