Helpity Help Help Cushion Update

Hi all! Sorry for the blackout, but I have some goooood update action.

I bought my center Cushion from Leon Mege. A 1.01 E VS2. (The diamond on the right of the photo) My original plan was to get the setting r971:

...but while looking over his site, I realized that I''d be remiss in not considering his wonderful pave, and I was second guessing the marquise on that r971. I like unusual cuts and loved the pave and bullet side stones from this setting:

So over the weekend, I wrote to Leon about both rings. At the end of my email I also said that I''d love to know what he''d do if following his own intuition.

Today we spoke on the phone and it was so AWESOME!!! He had a great idea for french cut diamonds in a pave and a five stone ring using half moons and bullets. Just a totally new creation. He even said said that he was getting very excited about the ring and he''ll be sending me a photo of the diamond layout tomorrow. I have to say, that hearing Leon so excited about my ring made me want to jump around and dance. He totally gets what I want and he is going the extra distance to make something beautiful and unique.

I think Leon''s idea is excellent and I will like that setting better than the original choice. When I spoke to Leon, he said he doesn''t get excited about jewelry so I am glad he is excited about your design. I told him I wanted to get a setting that excited him.
