Helping a friend choose diamonds for earrings

I would love some help choosing some stones for a friend. We are looking at WF and have narrowed it down to these

to me, both pair look good, but you all often notice things that I never would so I'm asking your advice as I really want to steer my friend in the right direction. This is her first purchase of this size and I want to get it right!

My eye seems to be drawn to the 1.3 pair

Mine too. Do they appear a bit brighter to you? It seems that way to me.

They do. They seem better matched as well.

Both of these are nice pairs. There is a little bit of a difference in diameter for the 1.3 pair.

Given the relatively miniscule price difference, the 1.3tcw is probably the better buy in my books.

The earrings arrive tomorrow. Here are the photos provided by WF. As you can see, she went for the 8 prong settings. I hope there is not too much metal, but she like what she saw in some of the threads.

Wow, they are beautiful! I love the 8 prong! From the front all you see is 8 tiny prongs...not too much metal (IMO).
They look huge too! See if you can get her to do some ear shots! She'll probably think we're wacko for wanting
ear shots but its nice to see their presence on the ear for future reference.

Thank you both. She is very happy with them and we both like the 8 prong settings. The size of the stones seem just about right to her for every day wear. The prongs are very tiny and not obtrusive at all. She agreed to one ear shot! I've also added close ups of the setting, which again, we both like very much.

They look great! I have WF studs and I have the six prong martini setting. I didn't get the eight prong because I was afraid that so many prongs would overwhelm the diamond. However, once I received my studs, I noticed how dainty WF prongs are.

Love them! The prongs are very subtle. Nice choice on those backs, too, they'll keep the studs from drooping.
