Thoughts on this diamond? I am putting it in a diamond/sapphire setting and need to have it purchased it today. Would this be a worthy Choice?

Depth: 60-62.3 (that one above is too deep)

Crown angle: 34-35.0

Pavilion angle: 40.6-41.0

With that many inclusions in the table area and it being graded SI2, it's probably not eyeclean. The price would be higher if it was eyeclean. There might be some totally eyeclean SI2 stones but usually the vendors grab them before they ever hit that database. Blue Nile is a drop-shipper.

Aside from that you find the HCA cut adviser link under Tools at the top of this page, and plug in the values and look for a score of 2 or less. It is a rejection tool, so a 1 is not better than a 2. You just use it to help weed out stones that are not cut for ideal light performance.

Much too risky to buy SI2 without images. I wouldn't even buy SI1 without pictures of the stone because there are plenty of SI1's that are not eyeclean. Is the setting at BN? Because if it isn't, then I'd look at vendors that provide pictures if you want an SI stone.
