Hi Vakwam and welcome

No idea with the price, we need a lot more info please concerning the cut in order to get an idea whether it is a well cut diamond or not, can you post all the info from the grading report here please? The info needed is the cut grade ( I assume its a GIA Excellent?)

depth%
table%
crown and pavilion angles
girdle thickness
polish and symmetry grades
diameter in MM
star and lower girdle facet percentages.

Also do you know if the diamond is eyeclean and is it for sale online or from a jewellery store?

Can you please post a link to the stone, or else add the crown and pavilion angles, and the table and depth percentages? Also, images such as magnified photos and Ideal Scope help us assess diamonds online.

Will you be seeing this diamond in person or is it online?

The diamond is rather deep and the angles are what we call ' steep deep', there is a chance the diamond will leak light which you don't want as this means it might not have the beauty and sparkle you would wish. Personally I would keep looking, do you have any others in mind?

Ditto this.

Have you seen it in person? If you've seen it and you love it, go for it - it will by no means or metrics be a horror.

If you haven't seen it in person, though, I would pass and choose a stone with a safer angle combo.

Hello:

Thank you for all of your information. I have also found the following stone online but is a EGL USA. What do you think?

ct 1.07, G, SI1, cut: EGL Ideal Plus
Florecence None
measurement 6.52-6.56-4.05
tablet 57
depth 62
crown 34.80%
paw 41%

and the price is $3,900

Do a PS search on EGL.

It seems as EGL USA is good unlike EGL Israel / International? Any recommendations for this stone at this price? Is online, I have 10 days return policy. no upgrade policy.
