I just got red nail polish on my aquamarine! What is the best way to get it off without damaging the stone?

I''d try some alcohol - gin would be my tipple of choice.

It''s normally pretty good at removing nail polish and shouldn''t damage the stone.

Or maybe nail polish remover? I use it all the time on gems in certain jewelry processes and it won''t harm aqua. It''s acetone-based.

Haha yeah.. Bad decision on my part! I was just touching up before going somewhere and didn''t take it off first.

Tomorrow I''m going to the liquor store to get a leetle bottle of gin!
