Newbie here. I just recently purchased this diamond and wanted to get your thoughts on it. It's an AGS Ideal 1.76ct VVS2 in I color. It will be set in an open profile rose gold solitaire. The inside of the prongs will be dipped in white metal if that makes any difference. The diamond in my opinion looks great in both cut and proportions. The one thing that's been nagging me is the color. When compared to other I color diamonds I notice a stronger yellow hue. Does this look more like a J or I to you? Will it matter much in a rose gold setting? Thanks!
