Help with wedding band melee!

Hi everyone!

I need help deciding on melee size for my ~1.6ct rose gold solitaire and 4.5 finger size.

My inspiration from pinterest is attached. I want the bold look, but proportional for my finger and solitaire size. The diamonds in the inspo pic are 25 pointers (i asked), but I'm not sure of the finger size or center stone.

The angle is bad, but they look 40-50% the diameter of the ering stone. So, at 1.6 ct should be around 7.7 mm. So, each stone would be 3-3.5 mm.

I would go for 10pt for your band. It will provide the bold look without overpowering your e-ring. I would hesitate to go higher on the band as it will start competing with your e-ring. Can you possibly try on some bands in person? I think that will help your decision. Also IDJ are a great source for beautiful bands on budget and they can send you some videos of different bands with a solitaire of a similar size to yours.

Thanks for the responses! I was thinking ~10-15 pointers from seeing different photos of solitaires similar to mine but it's great to hear from others. I've tried on some bands, but to be honest, since they are all so much bigger than my finger it can be difficult to get a true sense.
I did just ask IDJ for a quote so when I hear back from them I'll go into more detail about what I'm looking for.

Any more thoughts/insights welcome!

l was going to suggest 10-15 pointers, just due to the size of your finger!
