Anybody have a six prong platinum e-ring..more specifically the Nouveau six prong from Blue Nile? I really want an eternity band but I''m not sure if they''ll go well together. Soldering is not an option since I would want to wear my wedding band by itself at times. I''m very confused to if I should just get a 5 stone, half-eternity, eternity...I would want my rings to fit well together and am kind of concerned because my e-ring setting seems a bit low, similar to the Tiffany setting. Any help/suggestions/pictures will be greatly appreciated! ,

My ring is a 1.4 Nouveau six prong platinum setting from Blue Nile. VS1, G color.

I don''t have pictures to share but I wanted to suggest checking out wedding bands in person at a local jewelry store to see which style and look you like the best, that way you can see for yourself how the rings will fit together too and make the best judgement. IMO, I think 5 stone wedding bands look lovely with solitaires.

ditto--get an idea of what you like in person and then find a version with great diamonds and beautiful craftsmanship online. Solitares are great b/c they have so many options. I say get everything

(just kidding....sort of...:-)

Figure out if you like a gap between your ering and wband, what size stones you prefer, if you like 4 prong, shared prong, bezel...or if plain platinum is what works for you. You''ll learn a lot by trying things on....atleast I did. I thought I knew for sure what I wanted and then when I tried on a ring I had never seen, heard of, or considered, DH and I were both in

hitting a jeweler and trying things on is the best option. Personally, I don''t think there is anything more classic than an eternity and paired with a solitaire. I''m not a big fan of five stones or half eternity b/c of the spinning and would probably opt to solder the rings to avoid it. Full eternity''s are difficult to size though and many people stay away from them for that reason. You really just need to see what you really like and go from there.
