My wife wants some bezel set diamond earrings. Is there a certain quality in a round brilliant stone that would be better than others. And i guess how good a quality do they really need to be in a bezel setting? Thanks,.
Depends on the size of the stone, eye-clean is probably at 1 foot away definition. Durability wise, thinner girdle would not be that much of a problem as bezel setting will protect it and a ear-ring stone is less likely to be knocked that much. Cut wise, shallow pavilion, in the ear-ring stone range of the HCA could work but not the proportions with leakage.
