help with pricing

I am living in China and having a hard time figuring out what diamond prices should be since i can''t just shop around like I would at home. This is a heavy bargaining culture so prices are marked WAY up and I need an idea of what I should be shooting for.

The ring I am looking at (rings are only sold as a set here not a separate diamond and setting) has the following diamond.

VVS2
E

Assuming this rating to be accurate, does anyone have an idea of how much this diamond should cost?

Hi Rob, the closest I could find for a GIA cert in that size with those specs is around $ 500 - $ 700. Hope this helps.
