Can someone let me know directionally how much a 0.15 to 0.20 ct single cut H / VS-SI diamond is worth? I am looking high and low on the internet and can't get proper prices. Further, if I was to make a custom setting with 0.15ct ish diamonds - does anyone know how much approximately I will be charged say from a Leon?

I have 5 matching stones and trying to determine if it is worth it for me to keep them. They were sold to me as 0.33 ct each and I paid in accordance with that. So what I got is half of that. :(

Do you mean a 0.015ct single cut? I have not seen such a large single cut of 15/100ct in years.

0.15 ct - they are approximately 3.6 mm. They came from an antique ring. I actually have another single cut this size sitting in my gembox forever and this set of 5 is a perfect match!

They are really worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them, it's not like you can shop around and compare pricing, like you have found out they are extremely rare in that size, the price would have to reflect that.
If they are cut well I'm guessing at least 15% more than their full cut equivalent, but I would probably pay even more than that if I needed them for a specific project.
I say it's worth getting LM to make a ring for them just because they must look really cool and unique in that size.

I would love to see some pictures of them. :naughty:

If you post some pictures I will give my opinion

I only have access to my crappy blackberry camera at the moment.

Does anyone know how much a 0.15 ct cost for full cuts?

Of course the price of .15ct RBC's will depend heavily on cut color and clarity.
I'd say very commercial ( junky) stones will at around $500 per carat- or less if they're total crap.Really nicely cut "collection" quality might got for $1500 per cart- or more.

But I'm, with David- they're so rare that the price of fill cuts is almost irrelevant.
It's a shame that you did not get the weight you paid for though.....

If I know charmy she paid like $5 for the ring, so the lower ct. weight is perhaps not as essential ;)) And them being single cuts -- which I doubt they were sold as -- likely off sets it.

Charmy I would probably use a ball park of the same per carat weight of high quality melee MRBs, assuming the ones you have are clean and in the near colorless range. Are you trying to assess the value of what you paid? I know you aren't thinking of selling them ;))
