Help with Pink Sapphire or Ruby Earrings (no heat/treat)

For my anniversary, I am looking for a pink sapphire or ruby (or something else if I think it is just right). I want it to be a bit over 1 carat each stone (I have diamond jackets that fit 1 carat diamonds but colored stones you can usually do a bit more size, I think) It must be untreated/unheated.

I can spend around 2-4'ish but can up a bit if I feel necessary.

I really prefer darker stones regardless of the type.

Any help or suggestions is VERY VERY VERY appreciated!!

I presume you are looking only for a pair of rounds that measure approximately 6.5 mm?

I'm not seeing any ruby pairs that are 6.5 mm; those I found are in the 5 to 6 mm range only. I would contact Bill and Elke at Vance Gems to see what they have. I expect that finding a pair of untreated 6.5 mm round pink sapphires will be far easier than a pair of untreated 6.5 mm round rubies.

I have looked through all of the recommended CS vendors and I can't seem to find even one matched pair that is unheated around that size.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Seems a bit like finding a needle in a haystack.
