Hello! I am finally going to be upgrading my wedding ring/band for my 10 years anniversary. I have recently fell in live with Swissmiss's gorgeous pink sapphire engagement ring and I'm looking to recreate it. I am looking for a light pink radiant/octagonal cut sapphire in the 2-3 carat range, set in a white gold halo. My Hub and I are wanting to spend around $2500-5000 for the entire ring. Any good jewelers or sapphire that anyone can recommend would be appreciated. :wavey:
Here are photos of my dream ring (from swissmiss amazing e ring post) and stone types I'm looking for:

So let's assume dk can make that setting for 2. So that leaves you 500-3000 for the stone

I'll look around too, but in addition to the one Neil posted I also like these 2 from Gemfix.

http://gemfix.com/gems/sapphire-pink-504-padparadscha-cushion-radiant-1-34cts Upper end of budget and you'll pay for the "pad" distinction, but I think it's gorgeous

http://gemfix.com/gems/sapphire-pink-479-cushion-modified-brilliant-1-59cts Maybe too saturated for your taste? But still very nice

Over budget--but just an option in case DK can create the setting for less than anticipated. http://www.litnon.com/index.php?page=viewgem&id=10915

@Neil That's a gorgeous stone! Thank you.
I'm a bit of a pricescope newbies...what does "DK" mean?

@ love dogs
Actually the second link is a very nice color and option. I love it. Thank you for the help!

@chroman
I adore that shape and color! I need to do a little research on the difference and comparison of sapphires vs. Spinels.....
Thank you for the link!

DK means jeweller David Klass. He has created beautiful pieces at reasonable prices for many Pricescopers. He has made 4 rings for me. It will not hurt to ask for a quote for the setting.

Here is a thread with his work. You could go through it to see if you like his work: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/show-us-your-david-klass-bling.196654/

If you're very set on replicating the color of my stone, I don't think the second Gemfix stone is going to work for you. If you're flexible, you may like the the more saturated pink with slightly lilac overtones (see the link deco1 posted).

Thank you! This has been very helpful! I really appreciate the info.

@swissmiss & @deci1
Thank you for the link! You are both right, that stone is just a little too pink for me. Although its a very pretty color, I don't think it would match my day to day wardrobe for every day wear. I'm looking more for a pale pink, and I'm not opposed to lilac/peachy undertones either. I recently came across a white sapphire with a pink undertone to it that was also very pretty.
ALso spinels have been brought to my attention. I'm not opposed to a spinel with the color and shape I'm looking for.... :angel:

@chroman
Yes I think so. I really like more of the radiant/emerald/rectangular cushion cuts. That color and size :appl: looks perfect though!
