Help with Non-Matching Wedding Set

To my eye the 2nd looks much more balanced. But, obviously this is in the eye of the beholder, and you’re the beholder. Just don’t get swayed by the other band being your size!!! It is a good price, but, you can always put the $700 towards a band you find that’s perfect to your eye. Feel free to ignore me, but I’m the poster child for buying too many bands and over time not always loving each of them. Good luck. Love your ER.

I wouldn’t buy the first band and continue looking around. I’d wait to buy your actual wedding band first. $700 isn’t that cheap for the first style which is easy to find. I’ve definitely seen it going for $350-$400 on Etsy and a friend of mine purchased it for $350 in Asia, in a BM store, although it may not have been full eternity but 3/4 eternity. Another friend got it for less than that, custom made, by a hole-in-the-wall jeweller/craftsman with 20++ years of experience (admittedly his prices are pretty unbeatable). I doubt the quality was very different from the one you tried on despite being made in Asia as Asians are pretty particular as well, so I’d assume those are of an average quality and not of badly-cut diamonds. Not knocking price points that may be different in the US, different diamond quality (but at a very teeny size maybe an average quality is acceptable) or craftsmanship, but I just don’t find $700 a particularly good deal for this design.
