Help with my old ring

Hello everyone, new to this forum. I've acquired a ring from my grandfather when he passed away that I have been trying to figure out what the meaning or where it came from. I really don't have to much info on it other then I did know he was part of the free mason. I do not know if this was his ring or not but any info would be great. It looks to be hand made and i'm sure the symbols on it have some meaning but what is that meaning is a good question. Here is a picture of the ring and any help would be great.

Perhaps take it to an antique jeweler in your area, that specializes in old pieces like that.

Looks like i'm going to have to do that. I figured with the power of the internet I would be able to find someone that would know but i guess i'm wrong. Thanks
