I think that there are a few dresses you may like iin the Watters BM dress collection, that would fall into your price range. I personally also LOVE the JS Boutique Beaded Crisscross dress. It doesn''t seem to be the style you''re looking for, but it is BEAUTIFUL!
Doodle- Thanks for seconding that dress and for the tips about the length. I do have to worry about too much detail on the bottom, especially since I am hoping to not spend a fortune on alterations.
Holly- Thanks for calming my fears about the bridesmaid dresses. I think I may try to look into trying on dresses in stores and then finding them online for a discount, but I am not sure how feasible this will be. It would be so helpful, though!
MMM- Your dress is GORGEOUS!
Totally something I would wear, and actual factual proof that the right dress can be a bridesmaid dress and can look absolutely wedding-y! The cheaper alterations are also a bonus...
bensbride- Thanks for chiming in! It''s good to know we have enough time. Sometimes it seems like nothing will be able to get done in time, but I think we have it in us. I would love to see pictures of your dress, if you have them!
EricsPrincess- I love, LOVE, love [did I say love?!
] that dress. Looking back over all these options that is definitely a favourite of mine, and my FI loves it too! Now... how do we decide which of us gets to wear it?!
Morgie- Those suggestions are great! Thanks for the link and all the beautiful choices.
brandy- Thanks for the heads up! I appreciate your taking the time to let me know. I will definitely be checking that out!
My dress was a Watters bridesmaid dress in white silk. I paid $300 for mine but that included extras like extra length(for a train) and rush shipping so I''m sure you can find one for about $200 or maybe a little less. My favorite part was that it was REAL SILK.... a real silk bridal gown would have cost soooo much more!
