Help with grey spinel earrings

I bought this pair of spinels a long time ago, when nobody wanted grey stones. It looks like they are trendy now and I would like to make a pair of earrings for my teenage daughter. She normally favors drops/hangings. The stones are less than 8 carats together and they are much lighter in person

Any ideas?

Pretty stones! I think they’d look really nice in a longish leverback style, maybe in rose gold with tiny accents with pink stones like a halo (I don’t have much experience with colored stones but pink sapphire melee maybe?)
