Help with fist diamond purchase! :)

It's not bad, but there's some indication of leakage under the table. Can you ask for a diamond with a crown angle of 34-35?

Hi, last two diamonds picked for ring have been sold prior to completion this is one of the replacements offered..

Any thoughts, I know 36 angle is a bit steep when pared with the 58% table....

Hello and welcome to PriceScope, benpatt511!
I short, there are much better options to find out there.
Which seller are you working with and what kind of budget do you have so that we can help you find the best of the best diamonds?

What color, clarity, and carat ranges are you wanting?

E VVS2 2.25-3 Carat what do you think of the second suggestion?

I like the first one better since it'll be "safer"...the second one has a slightly shallower 40.5 PA and may introduce added obstruction.
Go through the GIA graded diamonds that I posted and see if there's anything that jumps out at you.

so this is a bit smaller but looks the right dimensions?

Numbers look good and the material appears to be clean.
Karl_K are you able to comment on possible digging?

Good call, not enough data to tell if its a huge issue but it potentially could be one.

Thank you, Karl. Saw some potential dull looking spots under the table and around the crown, so I wasn't sure if some excessive brillianteering was the culprit.

Do you consider MMDs (Man-Made Diamonds) for engagement rings?

Absolutely...as long as everyone involved in the buying, giving, and receiving are OK with LGD.
