So I am about to propose to my SO of 5 years and am both super excited and terrified of purchasing my first diamond for her.
I've done hours of research on the 4 C's and other characteristics but I still feel like there is so much more that I could be missing and I was hoping all you experts here could give me your invaluable opinion.
Originally I had a budget of under $3k and I was looking at mostly .70-.75 carats with excellent cut, I color and VS2. However, when I increased my budget by a few hundred dollars, I was able to find a .82 carat, D color, VS1, excellent cut diamond and thought the deal was too good to pass. Is this a good deal? And since there are no pictures of the diamond on the site, I was really hoping to get your guys professional opinion on this. I am mostly worried brilliance won't be as good as advertised.

D Color / VS1
Depth = 61.1%
Table = 57%
Girdle = Medium
Cut Grade = Excellent
Clarity Characteristics = Crystal, Needle, Pinpoint (not sure what this is)
And unfortunately the site doesn't list any of the crown angles, etc.
If there is other important information you guys need please let me know!
