Help with Engagement Diamond

I''m looking at JA, and am waiting for the IdealScope from them. From the specs of the diamond (first link above) and after talking to Jim, it looks very promising!

Please do recommend away! I just know that she wants a round one diamond with white gold... Not to sure about sidestones, but she does like different designs...

I''m still debating to just buy the solitaire one and then get the setting after she gets it. Any advice would be AWESOME!

For a H&A, they will need to post the hearts image. Without that, there is no way to tell.

Here are a couple of solitaires from JA (who must have recently changed their setting imagery) which taper like dreamer''s setting:

Had I purchased from JA the Timeless setting was one of my top contenders. I like the cathedral and think it looks a little more delicate than the 6-prong basket setting.

I ended up purchasing from WF and got the same setting as dreamer for a 0.80 stone on a size 5 ring. My GF (now fiancee!!!!) loves it.

whoa, wait a tick. this, and no post in proposal stories? c''mon man, details!



rock_noob, if you''re thinking about upgrading, pay attention to policies. At JA, you can upgrade any diamond, but must spend 2x; at WF, you can only upgrade ACAs and some ES, but there''s no limit on price... depending on future budget expectations, this could be a deciding factor. You have some pretty good diamonds picked out though

There is a possibility of upgrading, but I honestly think the value of the new diamond will be at least twice of this one.
