Help with emerald melee selection for custom band

I am having DK make a band for me with 9, 3mm stones, 5 emeralds and 4 diamonds. This is in memory of my Mom who recently passed, so I am wanting the emeralds to be of higher quality. Emerald is my Mom’s birthstone. I was wanting that beautiful Columbian emerald color. DK has sent several videos and said the lighter emeralds are the better quality. I also want them relatively clean.
The emeralds in the ring are the higher quality ones They are the lighter green in the comparison photo. He is sending them to me to see in person. Would love any thoughts.

I love the lighter ones and ditto the above sentiment. Are you going to set them alternating with the diamonds or diamonds together, emeralds together so it is like two rings in one?

Alternating, I think. I have this ring in all diamonds and love it.

Thank you! She lived a great life until right before her 95th birthday but still hard to let her go. Fortunate to have such a great Mom for that long.
