I am sure any of those would be nice. How are you going to set it?

I''m also looking at the .82 size. Will you be able to tell the difference between .74 and .82?

Hmm...Not sure of the setting, just started looking for a ring. Any suggestions on a setting as well?

A newbieish opinion:

The H has somewhat extreme proportions - could be a beauty, the angle combo is right in theory, table is a large for an FIC...I dunno how that translates IRL. I would definitely want the IS. .
The G is a 60/60 with nice safe numbers - though the IS will confirm. The grade maker is a cloud, call to check that it's not an issue, though w/ SI1 you should be safe.

The first with that pavilion angle definitely needs checking for obstruction, I wouldn't use this diamond for a ring because of this.

The second has potential to be a good 60 60 type stone, an Idealscope would be useful.

Out of your first three, 1 and 2 need Idealscope images, the last of these three looks good.

Thank You Very Much Lorelei! Your The Best. I have requested for the idealscopes on all three diamonds. Hopefully they''ll get back to me soon.

You are very kind, thank you! That sounds fine, post the images when you have them then we can go from there.

1 and 2 look good although the hearts image is needed for the second, with the third one of the hearts is off at 3''oclock, it might look worse because of the inclusion in the same area.

Several factors comes into play, like who owns the stone and set the price, VG in symm and polish, fluor, date when the rough was bought, cut, maybe eye-visible inclusions.

Thanks Stone for your reply. Would you be able to recommend one from these listed. These are acutally stones you have recommended on a different post.

Chase

We can't actually recommend diamonds or tell you which one to buy as that is beyond our skills as consumer posters, we can make suggestions however then it comes down to the vendor to actually recommend whether a diamond is suitable for you or not.

The one below looks good if eyeclean and the cavity isn't a potential durability issue ( ask one of JA's gemologists to check it for you), the hearts image is needed too.

This one also has potential if eyeclean and the cloud inclusion isn't impacting performance, ask for an Idealscope image,

This one might be good too, again grade setting clouds need checking and ask if it is eyeclean.

Ditto above. But what is your priority?

All looks good to me.

Three good images, with the second make sure to check with JA that the grade setting clouds aren''t impacting performance, ask for one of their gemologists to check if you want to buy this diamond.

Thanks to all your help, I have finally purchased a ring yesterday. Suppose to arrive on Dec. 3. Ended up with the following diamond and setting if anyone is interested in knowing.

http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/solitaire-diamond-ring.html

Was originally thinking of getting the Timeless setting but thought the prongs holding the diamond might be a little more "complicated" than what she would like, so decided to go with the simplest setting. They told me that I can change the setting if she doesn''t like it within 30 days so. Also thought about this setting as well but wasn''t sure how strong the diamonds on the side would be (would they fall out? Please let me know f this would be a concern!)

A special thanks to Loerlei again for all your help. YOUR THE BEST!!
