Help with Diamond Stud Earrings

Hi all,

I came here when I needed advice on finding the perfect engagement ring, and you guys knocked it out of the park. With Christmas coming, I wanted to get my fiancee' a pair of diamond stud earrings that she can wear during our wedding. I have a budget of ~$1,000, and have considered .5 ctw 14k white gold generic (the standard ones, not individually picked) earrings from White Flash, a local jeweler, and a Jared's "Leo" diamond. I would love to find a pair of loose diamonds, but I don't know if my budget would allow that.

If it helps, this will be for my fiancee's second piercing, so I think between .33-.5 ctw would probably be large enough. And I definitely think more brilliance is more important than any other attribute.

Do you guys have any advice on the options I've considered, or any other options?

Thanks for the advice! Definitely the way I was leaning, Whiteflash is where I got the ring from, so I know they are great to work with. It's good to have some assurance!
