Do you have more information on the second one?
It is hard to compare without the angles.

Also what is the exchange rate aus to us dollars?

The first on comes out with a hca of .9 which is an indication its a good cut but without the sarin its hard to say.
The numbers are an average and one could be way off one way and another off the other and they will average in the good range.

Factor Grade
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 0.9 - Excellent - within TIC range

Our exchange rate is 1.00 Aus = 72 cents US (18 months ago it was 50 cents!)

That makes it $9,900 Aus about $7,128 US.

I'll see if I can get more info on the angles of the second one.

Thanks for your help.

$5900-6200 US seems to be the price point for diamonds comparable to the first one listed.
The price is a little high by US standards but I guess you cant really compare prices that way.

The first diamond does not appear to be a lab graded diamond or is it? Do you trust the info on the first diamond? The numbers would indicate that this is good candidate for purchase although not an ideal cut.

There is a lack of information on the second to really give a good estimate on whether it will be a good performer. If you were to decide on just the certification alone, this would not be a bad choice either.

Having said all that and if the numbers are to be believed, I would choose the first diamond. However, it is my opinion that these diamonds are overpriced for the stated quality but then again I do not know the market prices in Australia.
