Help with Deciding Anniversary Band style!

I would love assistance deciding on a diamond anniversary band that would compliment my existing wedding ring and band. This is a special one-30 years! I'm thinking of an eternity band that would be stacked on top (or first, on the bottom?) Something that could be worn on it's own as well. I want it special enough but don't want it to take away from my exising ring which is a 1.07 brilliant diamond with 4 tapered baguettes totalling 0.58ct. The 5 brilliant cut diamond band below totals 0.90 ct and is soldered together. Platinum.

I don't think I want to do more brilliant rounds, and am interested in some channel set carre or asscher cut bands (a previous post). Maybe a channel style is too heavy? I also like emerald cuts, but too different? The biggest part I'm having trouble with is how many carats and how wide a band to keep everything looking somewhat balanced? Help!

I think you're going to have to try things on in person to get an idea of what looks good to you. You've mentioned a lot of different options; I suggest finding a store that has a couple of them in stock and see how they look (take photos to share here and we can help!).

I have found customers who are adding on to a set as you are like to keep it the same size as the wedding band for a balanced look.
And, if you keep it separate it is large enough to be worn on its own as well.

I would also advise trying on both the channel sets and prongs in person - what we imagine something looks like often comes off differently when we put it on.

Have you considered a stand alone band to wear on your right hand? Your wedding set is pretty blingy and sometimes adding another band can make it a bit overwhelming. I would consider a right hand ring as you could get exactly what you want and something wider than you would be able to choose if trying to pair something with your existing wedding set.

Hi Bethtc, I love the alternating baguette and diamond as well. If you are open to unsoldering your e-ring and band you would be able to wear either band with your ering or stack the bands on you right hand etc. it's fun to mix and match! Just a thought!

You have a beautiful set but sometimes too many rings or too much bling just makes it hard to appreciate the beauty of each ring. I got a 2 carat five stone band for an anniversary for a right hand ring and have just loved having it and wearing it.

Talked to my jeweler friend today, and I didn't have it quite correct.
This is from Stuller mounting 122107 and is available in a variety of metals.

2.0 x2.0 mm = .05s
2.3 x 2.3 mm = .075s
2.6 x 2.6 mm = .10s
3.0 x 3.0 mm = .16s
Total weight would depend on your ring size and the size off melee chosen.

As I said, I chose the smallest because I didn't want it to overwhelm my ering.

While looking around their website, saw this u-prong version for asschers too.

Was told that any jeweler with a Stuller account (most do have one) could order it for you.
You could always do custom too as Stuller is considered just middle of the road.
