So the floralytes that i ordered came in and i put together to different centerpeices, 1 with a teal colored light and the other with a white one.......one has orchids(i didnt have time to try and submerge them..how do you think they look sitting on top?) in it and the other was SUPPOSED to have tulips in it but we never got any so we still have to try it with tulips...
So my two problems/concerns:
if we do end up using the orchids we wanted to submerge the orchids inside the vase so there are 3 orchids spaced out...we didnt but does anyone have any help on achieving that? weights, fishing line, anything?
also looking for some cool ideas to use the tulips in the vase........or maybe incorporating them both somehow? help/ideas GREATLY appreciated!
secondly....i LOVE LOVE LOVE the teal colored light.......however......it turns a greenish color when the lights get dimmed/turned off. When the lights are on it is a gorgeous hint of tiffany blue. i guess the lights wont be all the way off but still i wont know unless i take it to our venue. <--- stupid idea? lol
maybe i need to put more gems in the base? I was really thinking maybe taller vases so that the color spreads out more evenly (i do want taller vases already..they NEED to be)....i have even resorted to thinking about using tiffany blue colored water! I want that color in there and love the light! any solutions?
Any ideas/input would be so very much appreciated!!
