Hi - I am looking for some advice regarding the images. I was told by some of you that JA probably has something wrong with their images. What do these images say about the diamond?

Here is what JA said about the diamond - "I'm happy to say that our gemologist has determined that diamond 1413535 has nice fire and brilliance and has a beautiful square shape. As you would expect, this diamond is icy white and faces perfectly eye clean. Its chip is extremely small, prongable, and poses no durability concern. This diamond is a fantastic option for you and will look stunning in any setting"

Here is a link to the diamond http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/F-VVS2-Ideal-Cut-Princess-Diamond-1413535.asp

THANK YOU!

Doesn't look like there is any leakage :)

Thanks. Any other feedback on images?

If everyone agrees, is the diamond a fair price or would you pick a different stone for the price?

did you get JA to compare 2 other diamonds?

That's a beautiful X in the middle. Why is it red in one picture and green in the other picture though?

I have gotten them to do an ASET on another diamond but it didn't look good. Do you recommend I get another set of images on another diamond? If so, do you recommend one? Looking for a minimum of a 1.25 ct, princess, G color or better, eye clean. Thanks!

I am not sure, kinda why I turned here for help. Everyone here seems to be very helpful. I'd be lost in my search without these other PS'ers. Thanks!

Any other opinions on the ASET image toward the top? Thanks.

+/- $10,000 for the diamond. Thank you.

I would definitely take a look at SLG's choices if you can increase your budget slightly, especially the one at Whiteflash, since it's nice and large for just over budget.

As for this ASET, it looks much better than a lot of princess ASETs, and definitely better than the first one you posted in the other thread. It may not be a bad choice, but there's something about the picture (the photo, not the ASET) that I don't like. I can't quite put my finger on it...something odd about the contrast pattern. You may want to ask for a better close-up photo.

From the photos, I prefer this diamond. Do you still have it on hold?

Was this the ASET?

I would check with JA to make sure you got the correct ASET. To me, that ASET doesn't look like the same diamond...the chevrons look smaller in the ASET than the real diamond photo. Just make sure JA didn't mix up their images.

Any chance JA could take a close-up photo of these two diamonds together?

Regarding the JA diamond you mention above, I no longer have it on hold.
Regarding the Whiteflash diamond which SLG gave a link to: a 60% table, will make the diamond appear smaller as it's depth is greater, right?

quick note....this will be set in a yellow gold setting. I still want the diamond to be as clear in color as possible without spending money on a color that is not worth spending the money on because of any yellow which will come through naturally because of the setting. thanks.

Table is just the very top flat part.

The small table does not have nuch to do with face up size, the percentage is relative to width nit depth. Actually, a smaller table like that is a good thing as it tends to relate to better optics and that will make the diamond look bigger! If you want to know about spread, just look at the length and width measurements.
