Hi all! Starting over.... What do you think about this diamond? I have no clue what to look for! I don't know what measurements look best... I see many different ones on different sites.
Thanks in advance!!!

2.03 carat
F, VS2
8.14-8.17X4.94
Depth: 60.6
Table: 58%

I am not certain how to do the crown or pavilion angles. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Hi!
Since it's a lab diamond, ask the admin to move to the "Lab grown diamonds" forum.

The angles are outside of true ideal. But that aside this exact stone is under $900 elsewhere. Rare carat are not usually competitive on pricing but they will price match others.

Anyway, I believe you could find better options in the $1k ballpark (certainly much better options in the price range you see it on Rare Carat

To add. For a good starting point on proportions you can use AGS ideal or something like the ranges for a GCAL8x round brilliant:

Try to stick working these ranges to help narrow things down. E.g.

Hi and welcome to PriceScope, Allstar543 - I'd tighten up the ranges even more then start analyzing diamonds for the finer details of cut precision and material/crystal quality (all the stuff that isn't on a grading report).

Table: 54-56%

Overall Depth: not a primary focus

CA: target 34.5, ideally stick within 34-35

PA: target 40.7-40.8, ideally stick within 40.6-40.9 (43% pavilion depth)

LGF: 75-80%

Stars: 45-50%
