Help with a diamond

Ok so I am looking to buy a loose diamond for an engagement ring and was wondering if the professionals could help me out.

I am either looking for a princess or radiant diamond.

I understand the 4c's but what are the most important out of them?

Cut is always the most important thing - always, always get a well cut stone!

Prioritise this above the other 3 C's.

For princesses and radiants, finding a vendor who is willing to send you ASET images is even more important than for round brilliants.

If you are looking for princess cuts with top of the line optics, check out Whiteflash's ACA princess cut stones or Brian Gavin Signature Princess stones. Whether they will fall within your intended budget is another thing. How much are you looking at spending as that'll give the rest of the PS tragics an idea about what budget stones to search for.

which does your intended prefer out of the two? They are similar shapes but they can be vastly different as well. So which does she prefer and what is your budget?

She had mentioned princess but then she started looking at radiant because of the look. My budget is 10 to 15 thousand. I would like to save some money but I want to find a nice stone to put in a setting
