Help with a 2ct Oval

I posted earlier this week about a diamond I had on hold with a local store, but I've since walked away from it since it did not have a GIA cert.

I'm now starting to get more acquainted with things, and I've narrowed the search down to a 1.9 to 2.2 or so size oval, with as little bow tie as possible. The setting will be a six prong, so I'm okay with an SI1 so long as the inclusions can be hidden by the prongs and is generally eye clean. One thing I've noticed though is that at this size some of the SI1s look "cloudy", so I am leaning towards a bit higher in clarity.

Which brings me to color... I think to get the size and clarity I want, I can't expect a D or E. I've seen some great F/Gs out there, and since she wants a 18k gold setting, I think a little yellow won't be the end of the world. Am I okay in this assumption?

Finally budget. Shooting for around $20,000 or less for the stone. I'm confident I can get the size/clarity she wants if I shop smart. If I'm not anywhere close at that range for my desires, please set me straight!

Finally -- What online dealers do you guys/gals recommend for ovals? I like the James Allen selection (and ability to view the diamond), but want to exhaust all my possibilities before diving in.

Thanks for any other general Oval advice you can lend. This site has been a life saver for me already.

JA and Enchanted Diamonds would be my choice.

$20k is going to be tough...here is what I can find.

Not sure why this one is priced so low compared to others. I cant pull up the GIA report.

Here are some that I thought would be worth a further look. I didnt think any of them were perfect...but you have to work with
what's available (or wait). I'm ok with a little bow-tie as long as it's attractive and reflects light. You can request up to 3 asets
of stones local to JA (have to ask JA which ones are local).

I'm going to see if I can find a perfect* looking oval IMO and post it for you to see what I look for.

I think these are very nice and what I like to see. Just pay attention to the faceting patterns...ignore the size/clarity/color.

Here are some others with decent faceting patterns.

FYI...I also wanted to point out to you that there are 3 main faceting pattern. (IMO) You may prefer one over the other.
One has an arrow going straight across the middle of the stone...see the GIA report diagram on this one.

One has thin arrows on either side of the middle of the stone...see the GIA report diagram on this one.

The last one sort of has a split personality...see GIA report diagram. It has 2 fat arrows on either side of the middle line.

You can find good and bad ovals of each faceting type.

Thank you so much for all of the advice and what not.

I see the different faceting patterns now, that is awesome. Does one pattern tend to make an oval more brilliant than another, or does that depend on the particular quality of cut for each pattern?

What do you guys think about this one:

I see a lot of SI1 in the same price range, so I'm trying to figure out what is putting a diamond like the one above into the price range, considering it is VS2. Is it the color? Does an F matter that much in an oval?

Thanks again for all the help, you guys are great.

Its a pretty decent looking stone. It has a big arrow going through the middle of the stone but it is reflecting white so it looks like
it will be a bright stone. Request an aset image on it. You can request up to 3 and they like for you to do it at once. Hopefully
it is a local stone and they can get one.

Color is even more important in an oval because the color tends to concentrate in the areas just outside the middle of the stone.
(all depends on how well the stone is cut and reflecting light). An F would be a bonus.

You can tell where the color concentrates by looking at lower colored ovals (these are poorly cut but they make the point).
