Help! Which Chain for My Pendant?

Please help me choose an appropriate chain for my pendant. My pendant is basically a 1-ct RB mounted on Whiteflash''s Circle of Life (about 19.5-20mm diameter). The standard chain of 1.0mm may be too thin and dainty for my pendant with the added RB. Therefore, I am exploring four chain options.
1. standard 1.0mm diameter chain, but double.
2. 1.7mm diamond cut wheat chain
3. 2.3mm rolor chain
4. 2.7mm rolo chain

Please vote and comment about your thoughts in terms of appearance, proportion, and other function related reasons. Thank you in advance for your help.

I voted for the first one because I feel it least detracts from your gorgeous pendant. The others, to me, look safe, but too heavy.

I agree....the smaller chain definately enhances the pendant. (Which is a beauty) You don''t want the chain to be the focus.

Your pendant is gorgeous! Congratulations.

I also think that a thick chain detracts from the beauty of your pendant. Have you considered a diamond cut bar chain? They are very pretty and not too delicate.

They come in a variety of styles: (forgive the simple graphics):

Or you might want to consider a small diamond-by-the-yard chain (depending on your budget)

Looks like the 1-mm standard chain is the winner so far. Before I firm up my order, I would like to bump this poll hopefully to catch those who have not had a chance to see this poll and cast his/her vote.

I really like the doubled 1 mm. chains - I think it will look v. delicate while providing you with the security you want.
