Help! Where to buy ring in Bay Area, California

My boyfriend and I are thinking of shopping for promise rings this weekend. Our budget is only a couple hundred dollars for each ring. I''m looking for suggestions on where to go. I haven''t decided if I''m going to get a small diamond ring or a band. He is thinking of going to Shane Co. Is there anywhere else you can suggest we go to? Thanks for your help.
