What lab graded it? What is the cut grade? Is that the ct weight of the center only, not the total?

the main diamond is .69 ct

the support round diamonds eqaul to .5ctw

Not sure is a lab has graded, a local gemoligist has appraised the whole ring for about $7000

Here is a superior stone for $2800. 0.7ct H VS1

A platinum setting with 0.5ct side stones could be $1500-1800.

Do you already own the ring? Is the jeweler trying to sell you this ring or giving you an appraisal price? Some appraisers give really inflated appraisal prices. And accurate appraisal should reflect what it would cost to replace the piece.

my brother bought this stone/ ring about a year ago.

I am looking for something similiar...though more like 1.2- 1.4 ctw from his same guy, just not sure what is reasonable.

The diamond is beautiful and he stated that jewler was good to work with....they had a small diamond fallout and the jewler replaced not questions asked.

I suppose service is hard to price untill you need it.

Any good jeweler will do this, or at least they should.

Without knowing the lab that graded the diamond you cannot determine its value. Value is based on the color and clarity and cut, and these factors must be known to put a price on them. Without a cert from a reputable lab, there is no way to know whether the diamond is really an H VS2. All you go by is the word of the jeweler. If you can find out who the cert is from then we can help you determine fair market value -- some ;abs command a higher price than others because their grading is stricter. But without that information, you may as well just randomly assign a value
