Hey, PS-ers!
Everyone here was super-helpful when I got my OEC reset!
Well, big news in our family...my brother is looking to get engaged to his gf! She's amazing, and we're all over the moon! She knows this is coming but is mostly leaving the ring up to him. I asked what she liked, and she sent me pics of 2 round halos with a little vintage flair. I will post images below.
The center stone will be about 2/3-3/4ct. It is a family stone. The bro will be getting it unmounted, measured, and appraised within the next week.
So, if anyone could recommend somewhere he can get a wedding set (either as a semi-mount or custom), please post! He has not set a budget, but I will tell you he is CHEAP when it comes to stuff like this. Thank goodness he has a family stone to work with! He has asked me for help, so, I'm encouraging him to put money into a high quality setting, since, again, he hasn't had to buy a center stone. This is what we're looking for:
-halo
-vintage detail on the UNDERSIDE of the setting, almost like filigree?
-platinum
-matching band that fits flush
I know Tacori has stuff like this, and I'm 100% sure I wouldn't be able to sell him on the Tacori price tag. Please help!
