Help understanding measurments ?

So I just bought a 1.54 cushion cut.

When comparing the measurements of other cushion cuts the same size carat size I notice my measurments are smaller. Meaning my stone looks small for a 1.54?

My measurements

1.54
6.79x6.21x4.27


Please help

i posted one in the pics section already... in this pic the stone is just sitting in the setting... its out now getting seated and sized. I hope it looks like the pic when i get it back, and the tiny open spaces around the stone that will b closed dont take away from the size to much.

i dont understand its a 1.50k setting and the stone is 1.54 but seems theres tiny gaps on the sides.

it should look perfect when it comes back though.
