HELP trying to get a visual

SO, I am trying to decide between getting a 8mm or an 8.5mm stone. ALL other things considered which would you chose?

My ring size is a 4 and I want to set it in a solitaire. My hands are VERY small almost child like. I LOVE BLING though, but I don't want it to look absurd.

Would you really see a visual difference? Especially if you aren't seeing the stone side by side

just give you a visual my diamond is approx. 7.7mm the Metal type halo around my diamond makes this a total of 9mm, my ring size is 4.75. I don't think this looks too large at all... You'll find that you'll get used to the size very quickly. so if 8.5mm is in your budget I'd go for it but it also depends on how you want to set it, I might feel personally that 8.5mm might be a bit too large for me, if I were to diamond halo it (but that's just me) others feel just fine wearing their 4 ct with a halo. Its all about how comfortable you will feel wearing it.

I vote 8.5 mm, hands down. I wear a size 5 (more like 4.75), and I have a 9.8 mm -- not too big at all! [emoji4]

I've read that anything wider than the your ring finger nail is when a stone starts to look "too big"... I don't know if I agree with that, but whatev. [emoji39]
