Hi,
I've been reading various forums and blogs for the past month or so in preparation for this. I've been reading many many posts here and decided it is time to come out of the shadows.

I'm looking for a "small" diamond between .5 and .75ct with a budget of $2300. Based on the limited knowledge I've been able to gather from all of you I've selected 2 possible candidates. I've asked for the IS image on both of these diamonds.

I would really appreciate any help I could get on making a final selection.

Thanks,

#1

Just based on the numbers alone, both are good IMHO. The second stone however is more of a 60/60 stone which may mean that you are sacrificing fire and scintillation for brilliance (i.e. “white” light return).

I wait with eagerness for IS images on both stones to be provided back to you from the vendor.

I'm also leaning more to option #1 but I'll wait for the IS images and be sure to post them in here.
Thanks,

Before making a final decision, you may want to continue to look around. Try opening up your search just slightly for more ideal cuts. With an ideal cut diamond, even an H colored diamond will face up very nice and white! I'm happy to help.

IS images attached in the same order as before (#1 =0.65ct and #2=0.70ct) I'm not an expert but #1 keeps looking better than #2. I would also open to recomendations.

Thanks,
Al
