Hello board members,
I am new to this site. I am in the process of purchasing an engagement ring. For the center stone I will be buying either a GIA or AGS 0.90-1.05, VSi2-Si1, G-H, Ideal cut, Hearts and Arrows. I am confused on the side stones on the ring. I am really interested in this particuliar ring at http://www.zeghani.com/index/prod/sku/ZR560 . I was able to view this ring at a local jewelry store. However, I want to add more sparkle to the sides. This is what the store recommended doing,

My question is would this really add extra sparkle to the sides of the ring or am i wasting money here. Also, What do you think of the ring?
