I am new to the forum but have poured over the threads for 2 weeks in search an ideal diamond. I am quite impresses with the recommended PS vendors but was wondering about purchasing a blue nile diamond with excellent certification scores and decent HCA scores. Are these two analyses sufficient or is there significantly added value for the hand-picked stones ofPS vendors? Thank you.

I am looking for an 80 pt stone, VS2, F/G color with H&A (or best possible) cut.

Welcome to Pricescope,

Well you have selected three great stones by the look of it! As to which to choose it depends if you want the AGS0 cut grade or either of the GIA - but if you want a true hearts and arrows stone we don't know if any of these are. They might show a good arrow pattern at times and all three diamonds appear to be excellently cut, but if you want an undisputed H&A diamond, then perhaps consider some A Cut Above brand froom Whiteflash or Cut By Infinity as sold by Wink Jones.

I may have not understood your question "ideally?"

Is this a useful reconstruct?

To me the main benefit of purchasing from one of the smaller PS vendors is that the service and upgrade policies are much much better. So you know for SURE what you are getting and also that you can trade it in in the future if you want to!

That being said, BN has some stones that are great values if you know where to look. You just won't get the personal service and no upgrade policy. All the stones you have shown should be great performers, but the only way to know if they exhibit an H&A pattern is to buy them...with other vendors they can tell you everything you want to know (and more!) before you buy.
