Help Please

Do all authentic T&Co. diamond inscriptions begin with a letter, followed by a series of numbers? If anyone has any knowledge they can share, it would be much appreciated. I've been researching this high and low and can't find any information on the subject.

I honestly do not know the answer, but I am not sure you can generalize about that anyway. Anyone can have an inscription put on a diamond and Tiffany's may not have always done it the same over time. But if the stone is a proprietary cut that only Tiffany makes, then that makes it far easier to be sure of authenticity as opposed to a round stone, for example. If you have the diamond grading certificate, an appraiser can verify if it is the stone on the report.
