Help please re: resetting stone in a halo (Toronto)

Hello,
I'm pretty new here and somewhat illiterate when it comes to jewelery and need all your expertise and help.
I am interested in resetting my solitaire round brilliant in a halo setting. I've found one I like at IDJewelery. Now I'm in Ottawa, Canada and they told me at IDJ that they would ideally sell me the ring to have it reset locally. I was told to send in the actual dimensions of my stone from the GIA certification so that they can make sure it's properly made to fit my stone. I'm a bit nervous about who to give the setting and my ring to. Any advice??
Anyone know of any good jewellers in either Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal??

Fellow Ottawa girl here. I've been very happy with Howard's Jeweller's on Sparks St. They do beautiful custom work (CAD's etc) as well as carry a good selection of designer jewellery. Good luck!!

Thank you so much. I will have to call them and see if they are willing to reset into a setting purchased from ID jewelry - I feel like they may not...?
