HELP PLEASE : Platinum & Cobalt Custom Ring

I''ve got a Master Custom ring made, I''m located in Melbourne Australia and I cant find anyone that caster''s Platinum without using 5% Cobalt.

And I have asked if they could use something other then 5% Cobalt and the answer is NO, as I have heard they can turn Blue and are Brittle is this true??

Any help appreciated.
