Hi there,

Ive only posted once so I'm fairly new.

After having some issues with my current engagement ring (https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/need-advice-on-a-diamond-with-a-large-inclusion-please-help.185777/) my husband and I discussed purchasing a new one and that's what we're going to do!

I have met with a fantastic jeweller who is giving us an amazing deal but we can't afford to do anything for a couple of months. I'm going to use the time to find the perfect setting for me as I already know the kind of diamond I want- 0.75 G SI1 minimum triple Ex.

I'm a little torn at the moment as to whether I want a plain shank or diamond set shoulders which is what I currently have (i'll post some pics). I'm also unsure what apart from those 2 options would match my wedding band which is around 1/2 channel set.

I know that I want a 4 claw setting as I'm not keen on how the 6 claw looks and I want to be able to see as much of the diamond when it is set as possible.

I have seen the amazing help you guys have given to other PSers so could really do with some help and guidance from you lovely experts :)

Thank You in advance :)

Is this what you're talking about? It does have the four prongs. Sorry, I'm not so great at settings but hopefully you'll get some more replies soon. I did find one that may look great with your wedding ring. Good old Gold has gotten great reviews from members of this site as well as Whiteflash and Brian Gavin. Here's the link to the setting:

Nbuenavent i think you might have read my mind lol. this is a gorgeous setting! Do you think that the way the diamonds are set they would match with channel set in my wedding ring?

what do you think about the same setting but with no diamonds? i guess almost like the classic tiffany setting but 4 claw not 6?

thanks for replying :)
