Help picking a stone!

I know what shapes and what kind of ring my girlfriend likes. I proposed with my Mom''s ring and she doesn''t know that it''s temporary. I just don''t understand different statistics of diamonds. She love diamonds and asked me if the stone was G/H or VS1/VS2, so I think that''s what she likes. Our anniversary is coming up and I want to give her the "real ring." I know she loves cushion? cut or maybe round ones. And she talked about a Halo setting without small diamonds on the band. Someone please help me figure out what diamonds she might love. I want to get her something between 1.5 and 2 carats in the $20,000 range. I just don''t know what to look for when I search for diamonds and I found this site when I was using Google.
