Hi all,
This is my very first post here. I am choosing among three diamonds and here are the Idealscope images from the retailer. I have no idea how to tell a good diamond from a bad one from those Idealscope images, so I look for help here. I wonder if anyone will be able to tell which one is better and which one should be avoided?
Diamond A:

Diamond B:
189866.jpg;

Diamond C:
206012.jpg.

Thank you very much!!!

The first one is really nice.

Thank you. But that one is a little small compared with the other two. And the color and clarity is not as good as the other two as well. What do you think of the last one?

Karljian- I think you need to post all the info/ stats/ dimensions /clarity etc on the diamonds that you are choosing from.

Opinions that you will get will only tell you what pp think about the images, not on the size or clarity. The IS images that you have provided makes the diamonds look the same size.

Thanks for your suggestion. Here is the information:
Diamond A: 0.72ct/G/VS2, L/W/D (mm): 5.75*5.78*3.56
Diamond B: 0.81ct/G/VS1, L/W/D (mm): 5.93*5.97*3.69
Diamond C: 0.84ct/F/VS1, L/W/D (mm): 6.01*6.05*3.76

I personally like Diamond C best considering all these aspects. However it has medium blue fluorescence and the photo JA provides looks blurry and milky. I asked their representative and she said they have checked the diamond and it has very good light performance. Don't know if I should trust her or not.

1 seemingly looks the best. The inclusions might or might not bother you under the table.

prob just out of focus or dirty. I assume their videos are under a controlled lighting environment, not sure how much UV light their lightbulbs are emitting! :errrr:

Thank you guys. I also calculated the HCA scores for the three and A and C got the best score: 1.3 and both got three excellence and one very good . I think that's a very score and the light performance should be good for both. I probably will go with C since it is the largest.

what's your budget? Diamond C has quite a bit of leakage in the center...Diamond A is clearly the winner...but if you don't like the size, maybe you can compromise on the color and clarity....

Thanks for pointing that out. I did have concern with the center part. JA prices C at $4910 and A at below $4000. C is 0.84ct and A is 0.72ct. If price is a good indicator of quality, I wonder if these two prices say anything about the qualities of the two diamonds.

The quality of the image itself is questionable. Notice the northwest corner of the image, it is not white. seems to have some exposure problem with the photo

I would highly suggest this stone as a compromise. It's an H (still close to colorless) and faces up pretty white, it's a VS2 and is bigger that the others:

I would put this on hold and request an idealscope image. Also, what discount JA is giving on this stone. It scored a 1.4 on the HCA.
