Help on choosing a pear-shaped diamond .48-.7 ct

Pretty setting!

I found this, which may or may not be of interest to you.

Pears are hard...you have to pretty much go by looks.
-look for lovely teardrop shape (which that stone you posted has)
(no shoulders)
-look for no black bow-tie and clear, well defined facets that come into view as the stone turns
-look for a nice feather of facets from the middle of the stone (bow-tie area) down towards the
pointed end (you dont what to go from huge, blocky facets to mushy facets

Its not a lot to go on...Please dont limit yourself to IF clarity...that could knock out a lot of potentially nice stones
(and there arent that many nice pears to begin with).
That being said...the one you've posted is not bad. It has a lovely shape and the center of the stone is fine...not great but not bad. Let me look
around some and see what else I can find.

Edit...what is your budget for the stone?

Ok, so here is what I found...These should give you something to think about. In the mean time I'm going to check another site to see what I find.
I think this is nice

https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/pear-shaped/0.59-carat-g-color-vvs2-clarity-sku-2787369 also nice and slightly larger
https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/pear-shaped/0.62-carat-e-color-si1-clarity-sku-2308008 This one looks similar to the one you
posted but I think this one has ever so slightly better faceting and is just slightly bigger

Thank you so much! I will take a look at these :)

I love the first one you posted--thank you!
