Help on 2.5ct Stone - is WF Expert Selection a better value?

I've been lurking on this website for a while and feel that I have gleaned enough to take the plunge into purchasing a rock. I am looking at ~2.5ct, G to I color, VS clarity ratings (am a little hesitant about the SI value, as I am a bit OCD when it comes to clarity). Moreover, I'm willing to pay up for H&A cut (as many PSers are as well). I am looking at the following stones:

First stone from WF I am attracted to due to value proposition which I want to confirm with others on this post:
http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3033763.htm#
HCA score: 0.8
Price: ~$25K
Color: I
Clarity: VS2

Other much more expensive stones that are on par with the WF "A Cut Above" grade:

HCA score: 1.2
Price: ~$37K
Color: H
Clarity: SI1

HCA score: 1.3
Price: $~40K
Color: I
Clarity: VS2 (???)

My question is that why is the first WF stone so much less expensive than the super ideals in the second group? It appears that it just missed the mark for WF's ACA label, but clearly has hearts and arrows, a better HCA score of 0.8 (vs >1.5 for the others), and is a VS2 vs a SI1. It appears from the AGS light report that there is a bit of asymmetry on the right side of the stone, but I'm not sure how much that will factor into the brilliance of the diamond. ASET and Idealscope all appear comparable to the super ideal H&A diamonds in the second group.

My sense is that the WF stone is priced less and is a better value proposition due to: (1) the 2.48 carat weight being just below the "magic" carat of 2.50; and (2) symmetry imperfections resulting in "Expert Selection" as opposed to "A Cut Above". Do folks agree or disagree?

Are there any other factors I may be missing? I personally feel more comfortable with a VS2 rating versus a SI1 rating. Am I missing something here with the location of the inclusions that makes the WF diamond inferior? Is there a huge price difference between H color and I color diamonds? I am appealing to all the PSers to make sure I'm not being overly ignorant and missing something apparent - it seems like too steep a discount to make sense of. Thanks all!

The WF stone id definitely a great deal for the size, it eye, clean, and has a great looking IS. From what I can see, a couple arrows don;'t line up quite right. That knocks it out of being an ACA, or a H&A, but doen't diminish the beauty. And what a find, just shy of the 2.5 ct mark! Better slap a hold on that one before someone else does.

I agree WF stone is a good buy.
