I've been perusing this forum for the past week and I have learned so much. Thank you. Husband and I are celebrating 10 years and are upgrading our ring. Our initial stone was EGL US LA certified 1.01 c, g, ideal cut vvs2. Depth 58.7, Table 59%, crown 32.5, pavillion 41.0 with HCA score of 1. We are attempting to trade in for GIA 1.4 c. I only have the measurements and do not have any pictures or other reports and will have to purchase sight unseen.
#1 1.40 c 7.14 -7.17 x 4.42 G VS2 excellent cut, very good polish very good symmetry. depth 61.7, table 58, crown 35.5, pavillion 40.6 hca 1.5
#2 1.43 c 7.28 - 7.31 x 4.47 G VS2 excellent cut, excellent polish, vg symmetry depth 61.2, table 56, crown 35.5, pavillion 41.0 hca 3.7
#3 1.40 c 7.14 - 7.19 x 4.45 G VS2 excellent cut, excellent polish, excellent symmetry depth 62.1, table 56, crown 36, pavillion 40.8 hca 3.5
all of these are gia certified with no fluorescence. are there certain inclusions that i should try to avoid? There's only one stone that has a HCA score of <2, does that automatically make that the best one? TIA.
