Help needed to narrow my search - opinions wanted

Personal opinions and general observations would be appreciated:

I am going to buy a princess cut of around 2 carats, and am left with one major question: Is it better to go over the 2 carat mark and have an "H" color, or should I go with the 1.75 carat stone and move up to "F" color? OR....should I blow the budget and get the best of each.

Assume that in every other way they would be identically perfect.

Hi there,

I am a big fan of buying a diamond that is of a higher quality. A 1.7cts is still no "baby diamond" by any means.
ALWAYS stay withinn your budget, otherwise, this experience would become a bit unpleasant.
In the future, you can upgrade your diamond to a larger one, and if the store you are buying this diamond from cares about service and keeping a customer, they will buy it back from you then at the full price they charged you.
